Stoughton Whitewater Park Update
On behalf of Attorney Charles “Buck” Sweeney: Rob Montgomery and I had a conversation with Travis Schroeder from the WDNR on Tuesday, March 4th. We discussed at length the various permits. The DNR missed some time dates and it was administratively allow for their last permit because DNR did not respond in a timely fashion. Adopted Resolution Opposing the Stoughton Waterpark Dam & Reconstruction Project
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town of Pleasant Springs that the Town opposes any plan to remove or reconstruct the Stoughton Dam that will result in lowering water levels in the Yahara River and Bay north of CTH Bin a manner that negatively affects this irreplaceable Town resource and the wide variety of uses and benefits it provides as expressed herein.
